Barbour ABI have announced the publication of a brand new edition of the Home Improvement Report, analysing home improvement activity across the UK in the most unpredictable of years – 2020.

When the March 2020 lockdown forced the UK population to stay at home, a massive impact on home improvement was triggered, as many began investing more in the homes that they now spent more time than ever in.

Our Marketing to Builders Merchants feature includes contact details of the UK’s principal buying groups.  The feature also provides access
to our downloadable database of Named Buyers at UK Builders Merchants.  For non-subscribers this database is available via our Shop.

What can you expect from the report?

The report will give you a detailed and visual view of the home improvement trends emerging in 2020: from the North-South divide, to the rise in garden landscaping and garages and the decline of loft and basement conversions. It investigates the differences between regional activity and the patterns we see in rural living compared to urban and inner-city life. And it questions how all of this impacts construction businesses and where the opportunities are for the future.

The report can be accessed from the Barbour ABI website here.

The Construct UK Sales & Marketing Directory hosts over 75 articles, 1,000 construction events and 30 different databases for download. The annual £195 (+VAT) subscription fee provides unlimited access to all resources on the site.
