The UK Government’s NICP sets out future planned projects and programmes in economic and social infrastructure and the new programme sets out nearly £650 billion of public and private investment planned for infrastructure over the next ten years covering 528 projects, programmes and other investments. Between £21 billion and £31 billion of contracts will be brought to market over the next year.
The procurements in the pipeline include (but are not limited to) a broad range of works across infrastructure and construction such as:
- construction work including building, design & build and civil engineering contracts
- repair and maintenance services
- architectural, construction, engineering and inspections services
- consultancy services
