Launches include the Future Home Show, the Homebuilding & Renovating Roadshow at Chester, the Homebuilding & Renovating Awards and the Custom Build Summit

Future plc, the international media group and leading magazine publisher, is marking the 30th anniversary of its Homebuilding & Renovating brand with a new era of investment to launch a packed programme of activities and new events in 2020.

The campaign reinforces the continued growth of the renovation and self-build market, demonstrated by the record-breaking visitor numbers at the recent Homebuilding & Renovating Shows and increasing …..

….. average project values, which have grown by over 10 per cent over the last quarter.

In addition to the publication of a special souvenir edition of Homebuilding & Renovating magazine in May 2020, four new Homebuilding & Renovating events will take place, supported by a suite of content via its online platform Homebuilding.co.uk.

The brand’s 30th anniversary aligns with a full year of activity for the Homebuilding & Renovating Show, kicking off in January with an expanded South East Homebuilding & Renovating Show at Farnborough.

The NEC Birmingham National Homebuilding & Renovating Show in March will host two new launches: the Homebuilding & Renovating Awards will honour the UK self-build industry, and the Custom Build Summit is a B2B event designed to help builders, developers and architects unlock growth in the fast-growing custom build market.   The Homebuilding & Renovating Awards’ categories include: Best Window Supplier; Best Door Supplier; Best Builder’s Merchant; Best Renewables Supplier; Best Roofing Supplier; Best Bricks Supplier; Best Insulation Supplier; Best Tradesperson; Best Heating & Plumbing Supplier etc.

A third event launch will follow in September, when the Homebuilding & Renovating Roadshow debuts at Chester Racecourse.   This exclusive, single-day event will bring the Homebuilding & Renovating Show concept to the North West of England for the first time and is designed to inspire a new audience to build their own home.

The London Homebuilding & Renovating Show in late September will play host to the fourth and final event launch of the year, when The Future Home Show will run alongside the main event at London ExCeL.   Designed to help people navigate the exciting world of smart home tech, The Future Home Show will showcase the very best products on the market and help consumers integrate cutting-edge products into their homes during the design and build stage of self-builds, renovation projects or interior remodelling.

Paul Newman, brand director of Homebuilding & Renovating, says, “Homebuilding & Renovating has been helping people create a home that perfectly meets their needs for three decades, and we fully intend to keep going not stand still.   Making our 30th anniversary year one of investment, product development and evolution reinforces our reputation as a forward-looking brand and demonstrates we are as excited about the future as we are proud of the past.”
