Business event organisers Framework Media have announced that their leading roadshow will be relaunched and rebranded as specification.expert with its first event in April this year, having provided product manufacturers access to specification audiences through the regional roadshows for over 10 years.

Whilst the eco theme and sustainability is still at the forefront of the message, the new event will appeal to …..

….. a wider specification audience and is designed to connect specifiers with innovative product manufacturers, to demonstrate how building products can help designers express their architectural ideas whilst achieving technical and regulatory compliance.

What will make them unique, will be a focus on local development plans, in issues of design, compliance and sustainability key stakeholders are invited to take part, be they clients, local authorities, architects, surveyors, planners, engineers, or developers.

The aims and purpose of the relaunch and rebrand are to:

1. Provide greater clarity and relevance of the event to its target audience, ie Architects, Architectural Technologists, Building Surveyors, Building Control Officers, Facilities & Estates Managers, Specifiers.
2. Position itself as a ‘specification’ event, including, but not exclusive to sustainability.
3. Promote how products can inspire specifiers to help express their architectural ideas whilst achieving technical and regulatory compliance.
4. Provide Educational Seminars that focus on the creative and technical use of products.
5. Encourage exhibitors to highlight the creative as well as the practical use of their products.

specification.expert will start in Manchester on 2nd April and then move onto Birmingham and Newbury in May, Sheffield in June, and London and Cardiff in July.   For a full schedule visit the website here
